As the firm has been around since 1938, our work spans many different social and cultural periods. The firm’s contemporary philosophy is embodied in the studio environment we cultivate - strong teams working collectively to produce architecture that is sustainable, timeless, sensitive and creative.
HIP’s design methodology can be seen in the way the practice’s design
studio works; one large open space, shared equally by everyone, free of
subdivisions and devoid of hierarchy to encourage good communication
