Our Story

Manasc Isaac is an innovative, award-winning architectural firm and a recognized Canadian leader in sustainable design. Dedicated to a client-centered planning, design and construction approach to architecture, our firm has a reputation for architecturally stunning and technically outstanding buildings.

Vivian Manasc and Richard Isaac began designing high-performance buildings in Canada's Arctic 20 years ago, then translated the knowledge they developed into other projects. We designed designed Alberta's first C-2000 green building, Alberta's first LEED® Certified building, Edmonton's first LEED® Silver building and the first LEED® Gold building in the Arctic. The recently-completed Water Centre is the City of Calgary's latest and largest green building initiative with a striking design that enhances the city's landscape. More . . .

Manasc Isaac creates an enriched quality of life through dialogue, engagement, planning, design and construction of outstanding, healthy, sustainable buildings and communities rooted in culture, technology and vision.

What makes each of our projects interesting, and more importantly, successful, is a thorough exploration of each client's aspirations, a commitment to improving the environment, and a realization that each project can be a positive contributor to the community.
