MTA is an innovative architectural firm working as one office from two locations; Calgary and Edmonton. Principals Bill Marshall and Tom Tittemore inspire their firm — a 30 person team — to engage MTA’s culture and core values; quality, client focus and design excellence. For more than 25 years, Bill and Tom have created a portfolio of work showcasing a diversity of style and scale, supporting the aspirations and functional requirements of their clients.
 
Through our recent and on-going high-profile success, and motivated by our desire to provide truly relevant, regional design expertise to our clientele, the Calgary and Edmonton offices of MTA, seamlessly integrated, bring exceptional credentials to meet all of your objectives.
 
Comprised of Senior and Intern Architects, Interior Designers, Building Technologists, Contract Administrators, Project Managers, Digital System Coordinators, Graphic Designers, Marketing Professionals and Administration Coordinators, MTA employs an experienced and innovative team of professionals who deliver benchmarking products.

Through our 4 Studios – Living, Learning, Wellness, and Workplace, we build a specific team of professionals whose unique talents are best able to bring our client’s vision to life. Established to define and recognize the specific expertise of our team members, our 4 Studios enable us to achieve our client’s goals and objectives. Noted for our fresh approach to design and for providing our clients with services of the highest quality, our diverse and repeat clients attest to the success of this unique philosophy – specific requirements, budget and schedule are realized.

MTA believes that mitigating our environmental footprint is less about a reaction to trends or forecasts, but more about instilling an environmental ethic in all our projects. We have created an ‘Ecological Manifesto’ to unify our firm and to focus on our core areas. As a practice, we want to interpret the concept of sustainability holistically, and by doing this, taking on a global leading role. Our ‘Manifesto’ engages us, and our architecture, to pursue our common goals of developing and realizing a holistic concept of sustainability.
